Confusion and an almost Disaster.

Today is a little different I am going to tell you all about something I almost didn't do but am going to do after all. My sister and I have been planning on going on vaction with our cousins Rod and Michelle and their girls Kirsten and Kira (see above pictures) So since the begininng Emily and I have had on the calendar Sept. 16-Sept. 23 for this trip to Wisconsin Dells. In e-mailing back and forth this week with Michelle she writes something about that we will check out on Friday Sept. 16th! So after a small panic and telling Em that we may have the wrong dates I write back to Michelle and ask if that was a typo and didn't she really mean the 23 of September? She wrote back that no vacation was Sept 9-16 and oh crap what does this mean for us, can we still go? Now Michelle and Rod have really been looking forward to this, having Em and I along means that they can actually relax a little and enjoy themselves without worrying about the kids (Em and I are thrilled to have the girls to play with during our vacation) to it would be bad if we couldn't go. I am not employed with a full time job, I am temping so it doesn't matter for me when we go, but Emmy had already requested and been approved for the 16th thru the 23th off. Luckily God was smiling on us yesterday (and everyday we just sometimes forget it) anyway her employers were fine with the change in plans and the way the pay periods fall it is still groovy, we will have money to go. Not much money mind you but enough. What vacation is complete without a little drama? Hopefully this fufills that quota for this vacation. Well that about does it for me...I have been up since 5:15 a.m. CST and it is now 8:21 a.m. and I am finally starting to feel tired now that I have lots of stuff to do. I hate that why couldn't I have gone back to bed at 5:15 a.m.?!?! Nooooo I have to be wide awake! Geez! See ya all later. Keep up the good work people, if we don't give up we might just make it through this day.

Well this is new and exciting isn't it?

I have come to Blogger to see what all the excitement is about. I cannot imagine that anyone is really going to be interested in reading about what I am doing. So I have decided that I am going to focus on what I am NOT doing. Today's topic; I am NOT plotting to overthrow the government and replace it with a government based on the culture of the EWOKS. Although if we all had fur and threw rocks at each other instead of using guns, tanks, jets, surface-to-air missles and nukes we would all be a lot safer and happier. Hmmm...I just thought of a down side to this...have you ever smelled wet fur....ugh...no thank you. So I guess we can all be happy that I am NOT trying to make everyone wear fur and throw rocks at each other. (techincal note: I don't have a picture of EWOKS so the monkey one will have to do....just imagine sitting with them when they are wet. Ah ,the smell!) This concludes the historic first entry to my blog. Keep up the good work everyone, if we don't give up we might just make it through this day!
