Friday can't come soon enough....

This Friday I am journeying to Indianapolis to have the annual get together with "The Girls" and it really can't come soon enough.

In the past two weeks one of "the Girls" has gone through a LOT. She lost her job and the next day her dad had a massive heart attack. He is doing much better by the grace of God but he will be in the hospital for a long time yet. It has been hard for all of us being so far away from each other. I know that the other three of us have all felt a strong desire to just put our lives on hold and go to her and hug the stuffing outta her. But reality prevents us from doing that. So it will be great being able to finally see her and hug her and take care of her has she has been taking care of her family in this stressful time. Jules is great she truly believes that it was God's timing that she lose her job so she was totally available for her mother and family during this ordeal. That is our Jules always looking on the bright side of life.

Okay, I am going to go now...I think I need to go back to bed. This morning I took my last antibiotic for Strep Throat and Bronchitis, so I know that this cold I have now is Viral which SUCKS!!!! All I have to say about it is IT BETTER BE GONE BY FRIDAY! On the up side we had today off of work for MLK jr. day, so I can sleep and rest and drink lots of liquids and not have to worry about going to work or anything. God is pretty darn cool isn't He?!

The picture today is the first picture taking with our camera. It is of these new candle holder globes I got for 75% off after Christmas. They are sitting on our dining room table on my sisters really cool runner. I really like this picture so I decided I would share it. Love ya all, God bless and keep you.

Update to the Snowman...

Hey there! We finished the Snowman this morning...
Hope you all enjoy the pictures as much as we enjoyed making the thing. Final height is 12 ft. total snowfall 14 and still snowing. We shall see when we get back to Chicago.

Happy New Year!!!

So how did you ring in the New Year??? Well as for me and my family we didn't do the traditional celebration. Here in Northern Indiana we got around 12 inches of snow and at midnight it was packing very well....
Yes it was still snowing as we were out there building...we had around 6 inches when we started and there was another six inches out there this morning. We had a ton of fun and I hope you did too whatever you did! ;)
