One of my dear friends, Wani, in Indy finally had her second little boy (She went 41 1/2 weeks)!!! Josiah Christian Penrod joined this world at 3:50 a.m. this morning,
after 19 hours of labor and two hours of hard pushing Wani was able to have him at home like she really wanted to and everything went wonderfully. Here are the pictures that are posted on her blog. He weighed in at 8lb.8oz. and is 21 inches long. While I am not actually Wani's sister biologically, sometimes God gives you sisters (and brothers) who are just as dear to you as your biologically related siblings, I am so glad that He gave me Wani! Life is good here, we are preparing to go home to Indiana on Monday adn are staying the whole week. Em and
I are painting Kira Grace's room. When Kirsten moved into her 'big girl' room to make room for Kira in the nursery we did a bang up job of painting her room, so now it is Kira's turn to have a room painted especially for her. The nursery will be no more and there will now be just two 'big girl' rooms. I am looking forward to spending time with family. I doubt I will post more before Easter so I hope you all remember the amazing gift that was given for us on that cross so long ago. God bless each of you. Safe travels for those of you who will do so.
