So I just got home three hours ago from a week in Wisconsin Dells with my sister and my cousins, and their two wonderful (and exhausting) kids. Now I have always know that kids can be angels and the next minute be little demons that you don't' even recognize, but never have I experienced it with such clarity as this past week. I love my 'pseudo' nieces, but man three year olds can be...I can't even think of the proper word for it...I guess they can be so three years old and everything that comes with it (you parents out there know what I am talking about.) Now don't get me wrong I had a BLAST and I could have gone for a few more days, I love spending time with Rod's. We went on the Wisconsin Ducks, and the Canyon tour, painted pottery, swam a lot, had fun in general. I enjoyed myself thoroughly. If I may go back and expand upon one of the metioned activities? Thank you. Painting Pottery, there is a place called Paint-It Pottery in Wisconsin Dells. You go in select the piece you want to glaze then go to it, it was such a cute little place and loads of fun. I chose a Gnome to glaze.

He is our new traveling Gnome. Let me introduce you to Motimor
Montague. Here he is with fresh Wisconsin White Cheddar Cheese Curds. He wasn't with us when we went on our activities (mainly because he wasn't yet made) so on Wednesday and Thursday Emily and I went around a took him to all the places we had been (with the exceptions of the Railroad (which was too far away to go to again) and Black Barts Mine and Buffet (which was rather a dissapointment and unworthy of our going back.)) We had fun taking pictures with a four inch cermaic gnome while people loooked at us funny. It was a lovely time in which we enjoyed getting to know our cousins more and bonding more with Kira

(who is young enough not to have the ingrained attatchment to us that Kirsten has.) Well I guess I will now show y'all some pics and tell you what they are...here goes. The one on the right is at Black Barts Buffet. Kirsten LOVES horses (almost obsessed with 'em) and found it very odd that these horses didn't have heads. But it didn't stop her from w

anting ot ride them, and what Kirsten does Kira wants to try too. Emily got on at the urging of Kirsten. Aww... aren't they all cute? Next to our left we have Kira popping out the window of the train we rode on. Let me tell you that was a LOT of fun. I really enjoyed the train ride. We went three miles down the track then the engine seperated, switched tracks and went by us then they switched back onto our track and hooked up with the 'back' of the

train and pulled us back to the station. And to conclude this blog I have a wonderful vintage shot of pool time with the girls. They both love the water. One is a little too scared of it and the other isn't scared enough of it. Kira will go under face down and come up smiling. Kirsten takes the easy way out and won't let herself do what she really can. She did make HUGE progress as the week progress and I think realized that she can do more than she thought she could. Kira however...she is fearless to a fault. I hope some day it doesn't get her into trouble. So over the next several days I will post another couple of pictures for y'all and tell you about them. Hope you enjoyed. Don't worry I will get back to what I am not doing soon. Keep up the good work people, if we don't give up we might just make it through this day.
